Hey i hope something comes of this.Way back in the 80's I used to go to the new mission theater with my spanish gf and watch the mexican movies on saturdays. The theater was still a destination to go and spend a memorable afternoon and evening. Thanks for the memories.
Hey, thanks for reading. My one memory of going to the New Mission was a showing of The Company of Wolves in the early 80s. It was Family Night, which meant that whole families could get in for like $5 or something like that. The atmosphere was more like a neighborhood block party than a film screening, with people running back and forth across the aisles to visit with one another. I ended up not being able to hear the movie at all (ironic now, given Alamo's strident no talking policy), but it was a memorable experience nonetheless.
