In this very special episode of the Infernal Brains, Tars Tarkas, myself and our guest, Durian Dave of Soft Film, nerd the fuck out over Hong Kong Jane Bond films while my kitchen collapses in flames around us. It's a shame we didn't film it, but I suppose the slide show accompanying the streaming version below makes up for it in visual razzle dazzle. For those blind movie fans out there who'd prefer to simply listen to the podcast with your enhanced super hearing, you can download it for your iPode machines here.

I'm still desperately hoping for one of these devoted to Sompote Sands. The public is hungry for it!
Fear not. We do have vague plans for a Sands themed episode. It's just that, before we do, Tars Tarkas is going to have to actually watch a lot more of the man's movies, and he is quite understandably dragging his heels.
Even if my dream of an all-Sompote podcast never happens, I'd still love you guys to pump out more of these. Probably my favorite podcast.
Wow, thanks! We're recording a new episode this week, so you'll be hearing from the Brains again in the very near future.
Love your podcasts. We're desperately short of wierd shit here in the U.k, so thanks Satan for the interweb
Thanks! Glad to be of service.
any of these on dvds? and do Vcds play on dvd players?
Connie Chan's Lady Black Cat movies are both on unsubtitled DVD, as well as a couple of her non-costumed spy films. Other than that, I'm afraid these films are mostly the provenance of VCDs -- though Golden Skeleton, and perhaps others, are available on YouTube. Beyond that, I'd check out YesAsia.com. And, yes, as far as I know, most up-to-date dvd players play VCDs. Welcome to a whole new world of audiovidual entertainment.
I saw Golden Skeleton on youtube and it was pretty awesome. and yay then i can clean out amazon of some of there VCDs. Loving this podcast and tanks for the intro into many cool vitage movies
You're wlecome. Thanks for listening!
