Gaze now upon the magnificent teaser trailer for our next episode of Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, which gives long overdue focus to the lightfooted antics of Bollywood's dancing-est superspy, Gunmaster G-9!

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 13: The Iron Prosecutor

Fighting Femmes, Fiends and Fanatics, winner of the completely made up Bannister Award for competence in webcasting, is back! In this episode, series producer Steve Mayhem takes a fascinating look at the violent Mexican exploitation genre known as "Narco" cinema, and in particular the films in the long running Iron Prosecutor series. There will be blood.

This episode also sees the official debut of the new Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics theme tune, which was composed and performed by yours truly with my longtime collaborator Dan Wool. If you'd like to hear the full version, or even download the sucker, look no further than immediately below this paragraph.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 12: Blue Demon contra Cerebros Infernales

Here at long last is the promised new episode of Steve Mayhem's Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics. This episode is hosted by some joker named Todd Stadtman and concerns an old favorite of mine, Blue Demon contra Cerebros Infernales (the inspiration for the name of a certain podcast that is also due to make a comeback in the coming weeks). Stay tuned for the end credits to hear a brief preview of the all new Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics theme song, which was written and performed by yours truly with my old pal Dan Wool.

Even fiends need a vacation

Some of you may have noticed that Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, the video review series produced by Steve Mayhem with help from yours truly, has been missing from 4DK for a few weeks now. That's because we've decided to put it on a bit of a hiatus for the Summer. Rest assured, however, that FFFF will be back, and with new episodes guaranteed to stir your soul and make you question the very nature of reality. In the meantime, enjoy this picture of Mustafa Qureshi as a girly scion of Hitler.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 11: Darna, the Return

This latest episode of Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics finds yours truly once again in the guest host seat, this time discussing one of my favorite subjects: the beloved and many-lived Filipino superheroine Darna.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 10: 077: Killers are Challenged

In our tenth episode of Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, series producer Steve Mayhem takes on the Antonio Margheriti joint 077: Killers are Challenged, and, in the process, gives us a handy dandy primer on the Eurospy genre. And, by the way, is it really sporting for a super spy to go up against killers who are "challenged"?

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 9: Temptress of a Thousand Faces

It's time for another episode of Steve Mayhem's Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, this time featuring Todd from 4DK (aka me) audibly slobbering over the fiendishly fabulous Shaw Brothers thriller Temptress of a Thousand Faces.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 8: The Three Fantastic Supermen

In this latest installment of Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, series producer Steve Mayhem discusses the first entry in the inexplicably long-lived Three Fantastic Supermen series. As is so often the case, the first is the best, in this case due largely to the participation of some principles from the beloved (by us) Kommissar X series, namely stars Brad Harris and Tony Kendall and director Gianfranco Parolini.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 7: Hey, You, Go!

With this latest episode of Steve Mayhem's Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, I rev up my magic bus and take you on a magical mystery tour through the world of 1960s Japanese Group Sounds movies. My subject: Hey, You, Go!, an engaging bit of psychedelic fluff starring the Jaguars, who were just one of Japan's many answers to the Beatles.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 6: The Girls on the Beach

With this latest episode of FFFF, producer Steve Mayhem takes a bit of a departure, covering a 1960s beach party movie that is wildly obscure despite featuring a guest appearance by the Beach Boys. There is also a group of girls who pretend to be the Beatles. No one is fooled.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 5: Rani aur Jaani

It's time once again for Steve Mayhem's Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, once again hosted by that lovable scamp, Todd from 4DK! This time around I wax rhapsodic over the 1973 Bollywood action classic Rani aur Jaani, in which Aruna Irani and Jyothi Laxmi spend a good deal of time beating the living shit out of one another. Enjoy!

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, Episode 4: Con Licencia Para Matar

In this episode, I demonstrate the woeful inadequacy of my Spanish pronunciation while singing the praises of a Mexican pulp cinema classic replete with killer androids, beatnik mad scientists, and, most importantly, catsuit wearing lady spies.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 3: Savage

Here's the latest episode of Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, this time with producer Steve Mayhem at the mike. The subject this time around: the Cirio Santiago helmed slice of Pinoy blaxploitaion cinema, Savage. Now, I haven't actually seen this particular film, so keep in mind that I'll be watching and learning right along with you!

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 2: The Fantastic Argoman

Here, as promised, is the second installment of Steve Mayhem's Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, this time guest hosted by yours truly. The subject: One of my favorite Italian costumed hero misadventures from the 60s, The Fantastic Argoman.

Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics Episode 1: Lunatic Frog Women

As promised, here's the debut episode of my pal Steve Mayhem's video blog Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, this time dealing with the extremely well-named, cheapjack Taiwanese actioner Lunatic Frog Women. (And, hey, isn't that Cheng Pei Pei in the role of chief frog woman?) As mentioned earlier, I'll be acting as an on-again-off-again guest host on the vlog starting with Episode 2, which I'll be posting in two weeks time. In the meantime, both Steve and I are eager to hear your feedback, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.

Coming soon!

Below is a teaser for my pal Steve Mayhem's new video blog, Fighting Femmes, Fiends, and Fanatics, which I'll be intermittently guest hosting starting with Episode 2. I'll be posting Episode 1 next Tuesday, so get ready to weigh in with your typically courteous and eloquent commentary.
