Ah, so its public TV. Is that why the Music Laden audiences always look like a bunch of depressed grad students?
Well, that, and the fact that most young Germans have always looked that way.
Also, until the late 80s public/state-owned TV was German TV and obliged by law to provide programming for every part of society, leading to things like this standing next to programming so stuffy you had to keep allergy sufferers away from them.
