I enjoyed reading about your "trip" to Fisherman's Wharf. Yes, it's essential to pick the proper set and setting for psychedelic voyages.
For example, why I decided to listen to Pink Floyd's The Wall after dropping three hits of acid is something I don't quite understand in hindsight. Somewhere around Side 3, I started to lose my mind. Thankfully, a radiant Ann-Margret emerged from a fortuitous late-night TV broadcast of Bye Bye Birdie and reeled me out of the dark side.
Thanks for an always interesting and entertaining review. I promise I won't wait for your next drug confession to leave a comment!
Thanks! And I promise not to hold out in the future. The fact is that with minimal effort I could come up with an embarrassing personal anectode from my youth suitable to any one of my reviews -- and, sadly, many of those would involve me being in similar states of diminished capacity.
