4DK in The Times of India

Back in January, when I wrote the post Indian Superhero Roll Call, I knew that it was the most important thing that I had ever written. For that reason, I haven't been all that surprised to see it take on something of a life of its own. Its latest incarnation -- fully attributed and with permission, of course -- is as a companion piece to an article titled Amitabh in Pink Tights: India's First Superhero in the weekend edition of the Times of India. If you missed it the first time around -- or would simply like to revisit it -- the online version can be found here. Those wanting the whole story will have to wait for my upcoming memoir, Game Changer: How I Wrote Indian Superhero Roll Call.

  3. Thanks for that, Sunil. I had to share that io9 post on the 4DK Facebook page. What a wonderful world it is.

And, seriously, would you be able to respect me at all if I DIDN'T know about the Hindi Superman and Spiderwoman clip?

  4. Spiderwoman? No Indian is aware of her. I always thought that was one busty and very kinky spiderman. :)

  5. Hi, I came across your site and wasn’t able to get an email address to contact you about a broken link on your site. Please email me back and I would be happy to point them out to you.

    Thanks!

  6. You've written so many important things Todd. How can you really honestly say that the Superhero Role Call is the MOST of the mostest? I'm still plumping for the Anipalympics.

  7. On the internet, there is nothing more important than list-based articles about superhero movies. I don't make the rules. Also, I sometimes say things I don't mean for funniness. It's a wonder anyone takes anything I say seriously at all.

PLEASE NOTE: I do not sell, trade, upload or otherwise provide copies of the films that I review on this site, so please don’t ask.

Please, no questions about where to download films or subtitle files. If you are asking about the availability of a reviewed film on DVD, please make sure that you have first conducted a simple search of the film’s title on Google, eBay, and Amazon. That usually works for me.

Everyone else, BRING IT ON!
