Fake Australians from New York! I danced to the Bow Wow Wow version at Danceteria in the 80s.
Of course, Gottehrer went on to be one of the better pop producers ever doing the first albums for both the Go Gos and Marshall Crenshaw.
And he's still going strong, having just produced the Dum Dum Girls' debut album.
