I'm happy to see that, with this review and my upcoming one of Shiva Ka Insaaf, Teleport City is once again temporarily transforming itself into Teleport Pradesh! The Bollywood movies we cover may never be screened on Turner Classics, but at least we're doing our part to make sure that no Indian film featuring a guy wearing a funny mask is able to slip quietly into obscurity.

It is a completely brilliant review :-) I love the history of Fantomas that he gives too, plus I really love that he hates that banshee Saira Banu as much as I do!
Saazish is possibly one of the best pieces of rubbish I've seen in a loooong time, I love the blue man, and I laughed out loud when Dharam was walking around in his chuddhis(undies) while holding the time bomb! Saira was suitably funky here, some of her outfits have invaded my closet, but acting-wise meh!
Teleport Pradesh must merge with my Masala Pradesh, it'll be like Yaadon Ki Baraat reuniting two pradesh brothers!
I have to admit that when I saw it I didn't hate it as much as Keith did, despite it unarguably being a piece of incoherent trash. That's mainly because my experience of it was the exact opposite of Keith's. I hadn't seen Memsaab's review at the time, and so I didn't know that the Fantomas guy was in it until he showed up on screen. After that, I was so drunk with the thrill of discovery that I was willing to forgive a lot of its flaws. Saira Banu was really horrible, though.
Teleport Pradesh! Brill!
I told Beth that no one was more surprised at my dislike of this film than I was. I just cite it as proof that I do have some critical standards and don't like just every damn thing that shows up. Which is an important revelation as I am about to devote the remainder of this year to writing positive reviews of Khooni Panja, Cheekh, and the completely, gloriously horrible Shaitani Dracula.
