Maybe I haven't seen him in as many things as you guys have, but I loved his characters in Apna Desh and Pratiggya, where he wasn't just a nonsensical "Comic" Side Plot guy. I've mostly noticed him more as the hero's side-kick (like Rajendranath, whom I also love) and he can be genuinely hilarious.

But my taste is dubious in all things, as I have no doubt demonstrated over and over again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-11951703928646807202008-10-21T12:47:00.000-07:002008-10-21T12:47:00.000-07:00Memsaab, tell us why & how, please! Hats off to you.

I don't know if Jagdeep is my least favorite Bollywood comic relief player (the competition is pretty fierce in that category), but, for me, he certainly seems to be the most ubiquitous of late. I just can't seem to avoid him. Compounding the problem is the fact that, whenver he appears, he seems to get a lot of screen time. I mean, Johnny Lever is horrible, but often, when he's in a movie, he's only in a couple of scenes, whereas Jagdeep always seems to commandeer an entire subplot all to himself.Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890338576052689861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-81993048075050570422008-10-21T09:27:00.000-07:002008-10-21T09:27:00.000-07:00Hey, I love Jagdeep (if you mean Jagdeep the comed...Hey, I love Jagdeep (if you mean Jagdeep the comedian) (of course I use the word "comedian" loosely)...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-26631458095564089372008-10-20T22:41:00.000-07:002008-10-20T22:41:00.000-07:00One of the Ramsay Brothers films I have on my giga...One of the Ramsay Brothers films I have on my gigantic pile of unwatched films, also seems to "feature" him in a larger role.
