So the answer, I guess, is "sort of".Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890338576052689861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-30841964469006813732012-04-22T18:12:08.345-07:002012-04-22T18:12:08.345-07:00Did Hayao Miazaki direct this movie? Also, thanks for not suggesting a Yugoslavian version of Puss In Boots. I'll look into the movies you mentioned when I get the chance.Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890338576052689861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-10523698365421112002011-11-04T20:26:29.743-07:002011-11-04T20:26:29.743-07:00Hi Todd! Oh, and just a suggestion. Maybe just to increase the type of films that you cover in your blog - and maybe to get more viewers - why not review the Yugoslav "partisan films," like "Sutjeska" feat Richard Burton in Serbo-Croatian and "Battle of the Neretva" (though that one was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film)? There may be some elements from it that I think may persuade you to review such movies.Sidnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-13386534180329445462011-11-04T08:21:45.223-07:002011-11-04T08:21:45.223-07:00It's available from Netflix if you're inte...It's available from Netflix if you're interested. Personally, I think that, in addition to the ninjas, it could have used a couple of giant robots... and maybe a schoolgirl with a machinegun arm.Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890338576052689861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118098779778491600.post-38610383287741158992011-11-03T23:42:22.128-07:002011-11-03T23:42:22.128-07:00The shots you've got here definitely look pret...The shots you've got here definitely look pretty great, and that cat is adorable. I have to admit, my mind does boggle at the image of the European swashbuckling cat being attacked by ninjas, but I suppose that's postmodernism for you.Dannyhttp://www.cantstopthemovies.comnoreply@blogger.com
